Our rights as Americans: The begining

It seems to me that our constitutional rights are being taken away at an alarming rate. Oh yeah, I know the first thing that just popped into your head "Bush did it!". Well, to some extent, yeah, you're right. To be honest, though, he didn't do it alone and this frightening trend started way before the Bush Jr. administration.

This post is a precursor to a string of posts. I want to go through the bill of rights and expose the truth of what has been going on in our country for everyone to see. I will do this from the most logical place. The first amendment. I will go from there to the last showing that the United States is being taken over by two groups of intelligent non-altruistic groups of self gratifying ingrates. I might even toss in a few points from our judicial system just to make sure it is known that our gradual demise is not just rooted in the legislative and executive branches of our system.

Checks and balances are tipping against us. We must open our eyes to what is happening before it is too late. Our government is betraying us and the foundation our country was built on. Please be patient with my posts on this. I want to make sure I am clear on what I present and that I have enough backing evidence/proof to give with every thing that will be presented.

I want my children's future as Americans to be a bright one. Let's make a difference for our future.

It is more than that. We have a goverment that is in place "for the people" and they have forgot the people completely. I don't care if your a democrate or republican, the goverment was put in place to help the people. If you ask the people most of the things wanted are for the american people. But goverment has to hide and attached different things that they want passed to bills so they can get what they want. We need to step back and look at the goverment who is making all these choices for us and ask them to listen to the people the reason they are there!

The federal governments job (Legislative and Executive)is to be a representative face to the rest of the world, create laws in sync with the U.S. Constitution and to provide for the common defense. Other than that, they are walking the line.

Judicial on the federal level is to police the other two branches and hear cases regarding federal law and constitutional issues.
